MAIL CALL: Looking for business who can help out

Local businesses to sponsor the Athens Daily Review for the patients at East Texas Medical Center.

Recently the cost of delivering the Athens Daily Review to the patients at East Texas Medical Center became such a cost that delivery was stopped. There were numerous comments from the patients. One of our auxiliary members, Mrs. Patsy Thornsberry, took it upon herself to get out and beat the bushes to get sponsors to cover this cost.

Two businesses in Athens stepped up to the plate and helped us out. Rhonda at East Texas Tire sponsored two months delivery and Steve and Jackie Hablinski of Whataburger sponsored one month of delivery. The auxiliary is so very appreciative of these two local businesses and plan to give them their full support.

Time is running out on these two sponsors and we will be without papers to deliver again. There will be a label placed on each paper noting the name of the business donating the paper.

If you would be interested in sponsoring the Athens Review for the patients at ETMC, whether for a month, two months or more, please contact the editor at the Review for details. I truly believe you will benefit from this type of advertising.
