Athens —
Memorial services for Tammy Latson, 37, and her beloved son, Rowdy Latson, 11, both of Murchison, are scheduled for 4 p.m., Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Athens, with the Rev. William Hickman officiating.
Taken from us in Tyler, they both met our Lord and Savior on December 8th, 2012.
Tammy was born Sept. 21, 1975 in Millington, Tenn. She moved to Murchison in 2008, formerly of Fort Worth, and a high school graduate of the 1994 class from Norfolk, Va. She received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Tarrant County College in 2008, and worked for the Henderson County Auditor’s office. She loved her family so much, as well as everyone she met, and everyone who met Tammy loved her very much.
Rowdy, a resident of Murchison was a Brownsboro Middle School student where he loved being in the school band, and played the trumpet. Band became his favorite class of all times. Rowdy, like many of our children, loved playing the Wii games, his favorites being the Lego Star Wars and Super Mario. He will be missed very much by his family, as well as all of his teachers and classmates.
