Athens —
Jimmie Mince, Jr. of Plano, was joyously welcomed into heaven on Dec. 23, 2012, by his wife, LaFern Mince of 61 years. Born July 29, 1927, in Denman, he will be greatly missed by son, Michael Mince and daughter, LeAnne Brazeal and their families, including two grandsons, a granddaughter, and great-granddaughter; brother, Jack Mince and sister, Betty Daniel; caregivers at Emeritus at Collin Oaks (our extended family in the Mince family); numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins; loving in-laws; and a host of dear friends.
Also welcoming him to Heaven were parents, James and Prudy Mince. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. A service celebrating all the joy he brought others will be Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
