ATHENS-Services for David Keith Sanders, 28, Athens are schedule for 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 23 at First Baptist Church with Dr. C. W. Bess officiating.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
David died Nov. 19 of complications due to Muscular Dystrophy at the University of Texas Health Science Center/Tyler.
He was born July 12, 1984 in Belleville, Ill. to Richard Frank and Donna Jean Morton Sanders.
David was a wonderful, warm, intelligent, caring person who maintained a cheerful attitude about life, despite his medical condition. He was a resident of Athens 17 years, and a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Allen Sanders, April 11, 1999, who also succumbed to Muscular Dystrophy.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Allen and Gloria Morton, Athens, paternal grandmother Beulah Sanders, Troy, Ill. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m., until service time at the church.
