ATHENS-Requiem Mass for the happy repose of the soul of Ann Love, 89 of Corinth, formerly of Athens is scheduled for 10:00 A M Saturday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father Pancras Savarimuthu as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Ann passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Corinth.
She was born May 2, 1924 in Hallettsville to Jim Srp, Sr. and Anna Pastcuha Srp. She was the sixth of seven children. Ann faithfully attended St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Athens where she lived her life as a wife and mother. In addition to her three sons, she has eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with another expected this summer. Ann loved to care for her lawn and gardens and was cited once in the Athens Daily Review for her efforts.
She is preceded in death by husband of 51 years Joe Stanley Love who passed away in 2000, brothers Tom Srp, Anton Srp, Jim Srp; sisters Janie Laughter and Mary Jennings.
Survivors include son Dan Edward Love, his wife Nancy and their children, Amy Rogers of Athens, David Alan Love of Houston, Megan Fulbright of Haslet, Katie Flores of Plano and Erin Gasparovich of Pleasantville, Iowa; Stanley Gene Love, his wife Julie of Oak Point and their children Joe Edward Love of Frisco, David James Love of Oak Point and Lauren Love of Dallas; James Glen Love of Redondo Beach, California; sister Agnes Wilson of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces and nephews.
A recitation of the Rosary will be 6:30 P M Friday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home with visitation at 7:30 P M.
