Coriene L. Tanner, 95, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Athens. She was born Nov. 18, 1914 in Malakoff.
Her parents were the late Emory A. Tanner and the late Minnie Lee Bell. She was an office worker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Malakoff.
She is survived by: sisters Inez and husband Bill Green of Malakoff, Loretta and husband Don Petty,;brother Lester and wife Wanda Tanner; sister-in-law Opal Tanner; a large number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Richard, Jack, Buddy, Weldon and Donald Ray; sisters Velma, Doris Mae and Maggie Lee.
She will be buried in Post Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010, at Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff. Services will be at the First Baptist Church in Malakoff on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2 p.m., with Brother Bill Rambo officating.
Pallbearers will be Tommy and Carl David Tanner, Gary Johnson and Rickey Allinen, Malcom Quattlebaum and Mahlon Tate, Michael Petty, Donnie Garrett, Neil Brenckman and J. C. Tanner, Amby and Kim Tanner, Graham Billard.
