ATHENS-Graveside services and interment for David Michael Warren, 67, Athens are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Thursday, in Shelby Chapel Cemetery with Mr. Danny Wilson officiating. Services are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Michael was called home by his Lord and Savior Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 in San Antonio.
He was born May 5, 1945 in Alexandria, La. to Charles David and Robbie Lee Sherman Warren. He was a graduate of Harlandale High School in San Antonio, then attending San Antonio Junior College and Durham Business College.
Michael was a devoted Christian, husband, brother and uncle. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served loyally in the U.S. Air Force as an MP, with his loyal dog by his side keeping the peace.
Michael owned and operated DMW Nationwide Repair Service since 1988, and retired from Argon after many wonderful years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, wife, Shirley Warren and niece Leanne Reidenbach.
Survivors he leaves behind include a brother Robin Warren, Ivanhoe, sister Karen Page and husband Richard, San Antonio, aunts, uncles and nephew.
