Athens —
A memorial service for Kristin Lynn Schroeder, 31, Athens, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 814 Belmont Dr., Athens, with Bishop John M. Mudge officiating.
Ms. Schroeder died Oct. 3, 2012 in Athens.
Kristin Lynn Schroeder was born Dec. 30, 1980 in Bloomington, Ill.
Kristin resided in Carrollton from 1984, until moving to Shelbyville, Mo. in 1994. She attended high school in Shelbyville, where she was a cheerleader, member of the marching band, and was a contestant in beauty pageants. She moved back to Carrollton in 1997, and attended school in The Colony. She has been a resident of Athens the past 11 years, and had worked in the accounting department for various nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul Pfanschmidt.
Survivors include her daughter, Paige Lynn Schroeder, Athens, father, Kent Blickhan and wife Lisa, Shelbyville, Mo., mother, Jana Gust and husband Bill Johnson, Athens, half brother, Jonathan Blickhan, Shelbyville, Mo., paternal grandparents, John and Barbara Blickhan, Mendon, Ill., maternal grandmother, June Futch, Athens, numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
