Services for Margie Ruth Dillingham, 86, of Canton, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Glosup officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton.
She passed away July 5, 2013 in Canton.
Mrs. Dillingham was born April 22, 1927 in Hiram, to James Allen and Ala Frances Morris Tucker.
She was a member of Clearview Bible Church. Margie was married to her faithful husband, J. Lee Dillingham, for 59 years. She loved her family, friends, and also all of God's creatures: dogs, deer, birds, especially hummingbirds. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and fishing. Margie had the best smile and laugh. She was a great cook and loved to share with everyone.
Surviving are: husband John Lee Dillingham of Canton; son Kenneth James and Linda Dillingham of Scurry; daughter-in-law Linda Darby of Canton; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Willena Fleming of Terrell, Sedalia Hickman of Athens.
Margie was preceded in death by: her son Joseph Michael Darby; grandson Michael Allen Darby; four brothers Basil, Vernon, Noble and Bob Tucker; parents James Allen and Ala Frances Tucker.
Pallbearers are Thomas Dillingham, Bobby Dillingham, David Darby, Chad Darby, Kross Darby, Taylor Hutcherson, Tyler Smallwood, Matthew Dillingham and David K. Darby.
Family will receive friends Monday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
