Athens — BEN WHEELER- Services for Ford Davis, 90, of Ben Wheeler are scheduled for 10:00 A M Friday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Robert Campbell and Danny Davis officiating.

Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Davis died September 25, 2012 at his residence.

He was born March 26, 1922 in the Cottonwood Community of Henderson County to the late Robert Hughes and Bobbie George Roberson Davis. Ford was in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a rancher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Tracy Lemons and brothers John R. Davis, Hershell Davis, Sang Davis, Delmis Davis, Ferrell Davis.

Survivors include wife Peggy Davis, Ben Wheeler, children Carol Hurley, Athens, Connie Lemons, Lewisville, Jody Lemons and Lisa, Russell Lemons, both of Brownsboro, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Davis, Taylor Davis, Lucas Lemons, Clayton Lemons, Philip Albright and Isaac Nation.

Honorary pallbearers are Perry Smith and Jerry Dun.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 to 7:00 P M Thursday at the funeral home.
