ATHENS —
James Thomas "Jim" Allen of Malakoff passed away on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2012 at the age of 79.
Jim was born on Feb. 2, 1933 in Henderson County to Cullen and Angie Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Barbara Sheppard Allen of Malakoff, daughters, Anita and husband Elliot Cearley, Linda and husband Stanley Hammond, Renee and husband Mike McClintock, son, Farris and wife Missy Conditt, brother, Joe Allen, sister, Patty and husband Hollis Griffin, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cullen and Angie Allen and daughter, Katrina Martinez.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff.
