Athens — Services for Barbara Hiler Garrison of Kerens are scheduled for 1: p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Kerens. Visitation will be at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in Corsicana.

Barbara passed away March 9, 2014 in Corsicana.

Barbara was the much loved wife of Jerry A Garrison.  Her family was her pride and great joy and the main focus of her life.  She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Rebecca Lynn, her parents and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.  She leaves behind children, Belinda Brownlow and husband Mike, Jerry W Garrison and wife Lisa, Ray Garrison and wife Cindy.  Grandchildren Mathew Brownlow and Rebecca Brownlow, Bryan Garrison and wife Crystal , Randy Garrison and wife Alicia, Arryn  Dennington and husband Taylor , Raigen Garrison and Gentry Garrison. Her great grandchildren were a much loved addition to her family, Blair and Whitney Garrison, Jason Garrison, Ava Dennington and Karter Phillips.  With such a large family, Barbara had many nieces and nephews and she had such a special love for all of them.  Barbara had a special gift for making each person in her life feel like the most important person in her life because they were.

She was born January 1, 1936 in Blooming Grove to the late George and Georgie Hiler. In a family of eight daughters and three sons she was the youngest daughter.
