ATHENS-Services for Margaret Tanner Robbins, 92, Athens, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Dr. Bill Pemberton officiating.
Private burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Robbins died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 in Athens.
She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in Athens to the late Ralph and Mayme Maude Moseley Vandaveer and was a life long resident of Athens. She was employed by Wolfe Duphorne and Henderson County Memorial Hospital holding numerous positions in the nursing field. She enjoyed her family, friends and grandchildren. Mrs. Robbins was a member of First Baptist Church, Joy Choir and many activities involving the church.
She was preceded in death by Richard Robbins and Bud Tanner, father of the children, parents, brother Elton Vandaveer.
Survivors are son Wilson Tanner, Athens, grandchildren Susan Geddie Holt, Julie Prada, Jeff Atkinson, Tanya Fowler, Lisa Tanner, Amy Gilbert, Matt Tanner, Andy Tanner and many loving great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Joy Choir from First Baptist Church.
