Services for Janice McManus Corrado, of Eustace, were held on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Woods officiating. Interment followed the service at Moorehead-Melton Cemetery.
Janice was born on Sept. 30, 1958 to parents Johnnie and Marie (Shelby) McManus, and went to be with her Savior on May 2, 2013 at the age of 54. Janice loved her family, and so enjoyed taking family vacations. She was a sports fan, and had a passion for The Dallas Cowboys, Rangers and Mavericks.
Janice was known for her sense of humor and was very social. She enjoyed spending time with her favorite dog, “Buttercup,” and reading. She was a graduate of Eustace High School, class of 1977, where she won the “Most Bashful” award. She was the owner of Janice’s Nick-Knacks of Eustace. She was Baptist by faith, and a member of Liberty Baptist in Gun Barrel City.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Virgil Littlejohn, Sr.
She is survived by: her husband Nicholas Corrado; sons, Virgil Littlejohn, Jr and wife Chelsi of Eustace, Terry Littlejohn and wife Rebecca of Mabank, daughter Jennifer Walters and husband Brian of Eustace, sister Melva McManus of Eustace, brother Larry McManus of Eustace; grandchildren, Crissy and Clayton Self, Tadym and Tristyn Littlejohn, Kayla Roberson; aunts Twyla McManus, Linnie McManus, Emmie Williams, “Buttercup,” her dog and best companion, other loving family members and many friends.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the Eustace High School Class of 1977.
