ATHENS-Services for Edna Faye Brooks Wilson, 71, Athens are scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday at the Post Oak Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Calvin Townsel officiating.
Services are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson passed away Oct. 18, 2012 in Athens.
She was born Oct. 4, 1941 in Nacogdoches to Evan and Cloy Franks Brooks.
Faye was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved going gambling in Shreveport and Las Vegas. One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her family and friends. She was previously employed with Dallas Manufacturing.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Wilson, four sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include sons Mike Wilson and wife Luree, Steve Wilson and wife Julie, Larry Wilson, daughters Carolyn Gaspard and husband Charles, Donna Golden and husband Eddy, 13 grandchildren, sister Janie Seeders and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Brad Wilson, Joey Wilson, Bryan Wilson, Rick Sanders, Gary Wilson, Dean Nuckolls and Eric Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Brandi Moore, Casey Gordon, Kim Ward, Aaron Nuckolls and Justin Sanders.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
