ATHENS-Services for Patsy Timmerman, 78, Athens are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Fondren officiating.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Timmerman died Nov. 7, 2012 in Malakoff.
She was born Nov. 6, 1934 in Tom Bean to the late Charles E. and Veta Wortham Auten, Sr.
Mrs. Timmerman moved to Athens in 1979 from Lewisville, where she resided 20 years. Patsy formerly managed the snack-bar at Trinity Valley Community College 10 years. She was a member of Lake Athens Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Kirk, Robert (Robbie) Charles Timmerman, brothers Bobby and C. J. Auten.
A loving wife, mother and homemaker, Patsy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Marvin Timmerman, Athens, daughter Lynda Timmerman, Lindale, son Steve Kirk and wife Ginger, Athens, grandsons Barrett Kirk and wife Nicole, Houston, John Kirk and wife Maranda, San Antonio, granddaughters Madison and Abigale Timmerman, Brownsboro, great-grandchildren Jake Kirk, Hudson Kirk and Linley Kirk.
Pallbearers are Barrett Kirk, John Kirk, Doug Ascoli, Henry Tolusso, David Beavers and Todd Davenport.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Cedar Lake Nursing Home who gave such loving care to Patsy.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701-6623.
