ATHENS —
A memorial service will be held for Anita Combs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Woods officiating.
Anita Kay Combs was born Dec. 2, 1954 in Lubbock, and passed away at the age of 58, on Feb. 5, 2013 in Athens. She had been a resident of Mabank and the area for 21 years, and was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Perry Combs and Bettie Faye Johnson Combs; two grandmothers; two grandfathers; brother, Perry Combs; and sister, Barbara Alexander.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Shonda Smith of Amarillo, Belinda of Lynnwood, Wash., Deborah VanKirk and Ryan Molkebust of Amarillo; brother, James Roy Combs of Paris; aunt, Pinkie Norrell of Van; eight grandchildren, Joshua Burkey, James Smith, Jr., Christian Smith, Braxton Klawitter, Kylee Klawitter, Keri Klawitter, Serenity Molkebust and Trevor Kemp; nephew, Aaron Alexander; and niece, Misty Combs.
If desired, memorials may be made to Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Mabank.
