Athens — Services for Joseph Gorham Coker, 78, of Mountain View, Ark., are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 at Eubank Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Coker officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Burial will be in Meredith Campground Cemetery, Henderson County.

He passed away Jan. 31, 2013 in Little Rock, Ark.

Mr. Coker was born Aug. 31, 1934 in Athens, to Gorham and Callie Smith Coker.

Baptist by faith and loved his Lord Jesus. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are son, Stephen and Kim Coker of Pilot Point, daughter, Chris and Christopher Kloesel of Azle, son, Robert and Leatice Coker of Houston, daughter, Barbara Coker of Houston, brother, Billy and Martha Coker of Eustace, brother, Jim Coker of Athens, daughter-in-law, Wanda Coker of Tyler, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, son, David Coker, brother, Arbon Coker, sister, Dean Jette and sister-in-law, Danna Coker.

Pallbearers are Gary Autwell, Niles Ladehoff, Randy Mayes, Shawn Ulrich, Billy Coker and Johnny Coker.

Family will receive friends Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
