Services for Opal Joyce Parish, 84, of Canton, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday January 27, 2013 at Eubank Chapel with Bro. Lee Flowers officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.
She passed away January 24, 2013 in Tyler, TX.
Mrs. Parish was born March 2, 1928 in Pruitt, TX, to Joe Curtis and Zula Molly Freeman Wilson.
Opal was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading, traveling and she loved people.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack C. Parish.
Surviving are Companion, Loyd W. Beeson of Canton, TX, Nephew, Cedric McCollister of Richwood, TX, Nephew, Jack W. McCollister of Clute, TX, Niece, Sharon Carter of Ben Wheeler, TX, Niece, Linda Jacobson of Jones Creek, TX.
Family will receive friends Saturday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
