Memorial services for Mrs. Mary Grace Hiser, 73, of Henderson will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 in the chapel of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Benjamin Graves and the Rev. Bill Kuykendall officiating, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hiser passed from this life on Nov. 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1940 in Opelika, Ala. to the late Pete and Blanche Stewart, and had been a long-time resident of Henderson.
Mrs. Hiser was an active member of her church, serving in the nursery and at Vacation Bible School, and was most recently a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a great cook, and had a passion for caring for the elderly, as was evident in her work as a home-health provider and nurses aid.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Jimmy Donald Hiser; daughter, Cynthia Diane Hiser; and grandson, Robert William "Beau" Graves.
Survivors include: daughter, Donna Ramona Graves and husband Clyde of Henderson; brother, Allen Stewart and wife Darlene of Lufkin; sister, Diane McClanahan and husband Mac of Pasadena; grandchildren, Victor Graves and wife Ashley, and Ben Graves; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Graves and Cooper Graves.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mary Grace Hiser Memorial Fund at Citizens National Bank at P.O. Box 1009, Henderson, TX 75653.
