After his service to his country, he began his working career at Katy Railroad where he worked for 10 years. He then worked for Texaco Oil Company where he retired after 28 years. L.M. was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served along with his wife as Sunday school director, and later attended the Andrews Sunday school class whose members meant so much to his Christian life. He was a Deacon Emeritus.
