ATHENS —
Paul Dean Cain 82 was born Jan. 17, 1929 in Payne Springs to the home of Avery V. Cane and Bertha Hunter Cain, and he passes away Jan. 11, 2012 at his home in Malakoff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Jack Cain, sister Avangie Barrow, step-daughter-in-law Glenda Kennedy.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Dewinca Holt Cain, daughter Deana Gruver and husband Bruce of Garland, son Billy Paul Cain and his wife Donna of Henderson, stepson Ricky Kennedy and his wife of Princeton, sister Dalphine Henderson and her husband James, brother-in-law Doyle Holt and his wife Dianne, numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and many friends. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday Jan. 14, 2012 with the Rev. Nathan Cain officiating at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City. Burial will follow in the Payne Springs Cemetery.

Linder ‘LR’ Ray Cliver
Linder ("LR") Ray Cliver passed away in his daughter's home in Corinth on May 17, 2012. LR was born in Athens on Jan. 20, 1938, to the late Alfred Edward, Sr. and Lola Mae Cliver. LR lived his entire life in Malakoff, except for a short period when he worked for Houston Power & Light. He has owned and operated Cliver's Garage in Malakoff for the past 30 years or more.

He was born July 13, 1929 in Coolville, Ohio, the oldest son of Earl and Margaret White. -

Burial of cremains will be in North Carolina. -
