Athens — TRINIDAD- Services for Bessie Cartlidge, 84, Trinidad are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Wayne Airheart officiating.

Burial will follow in Trinidad Cemetery.

Mrs. Cartlidge died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 in Dallas.

She was born June 2, 1928 in Trinidad to the late Collins and Irene Airheart.  Bessie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband A. C. Cartlidge and son Billy Cartlidge.

Survivors include sons Bobby Cartlidge, Lancaster, Benny Cartlidge and wife Kimberly, Southlake, daughter Brenda Lilley and husband Larry, Quinlan, grandchildren Amy Flatt, Julie Holt and husband Gunnar, Austin Cartlidge and wife Kimberly, Brock Cartlidge, great-grandchildren Myranda Flatt, Spencer Holt, Natalyn Holt and Jackson Cartlidge, brother J. C. Airheart and sister Margaret Crawford.

Visitation for family and friends will be 1:30 p.m.,  until service time Friday.
