Gus Jones

EUSTACE-Memorial services for Gus Jones, 75, Eustace are scheduled for Saturday February 9, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3650 NE Loop 7 in Athens with Wayne Greenhaw officiating.

 Mr. Jones passed away January 23, 2013 in Tyler.

 He was born October 27, 1937 in San Saba to the late Melvin Dewey and Ima Francis Millican Jones. Mr. Jones was raised in the Ft. Worth area. He served our country for four years with the United States Marines. He eventually moved to Eustace where he had resided for the past 30 years. He loved and had a passion for country music. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Marsha Jones, Eustace, sons; Scott Jones and his wife True, New York, NY., Travis Jones, Log Cabin, Michael Jones and wife Diane, Garland, Kelly Bass and wife Cyndi, Eustace, brothers; Robert Jones, Burleson, Frank Jones, Clifton, Jerry Jones, Laguna Park, sisters; Ruth Allen, Atlanta, GA., Amelia Serna, Clifton, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
