Athens – Funeral services for Russell Douglas McCloud of Athens are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at Athens United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Johnny Grissom and Bro. Jeff Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Creek Cemetery in Lovelady.
He passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 in Athens.
Russell was a member of Athens United Pentecostal Church, and went to Tiny Treasures Daycare. He loved playing with his big sister and cousins.
He is survived by his mother Kimberly McCloud of Athens and father Jason McCloud of Malakoff; sister Lauren Marie McCloud of Athens; maternal grandparents Doug and Kristina Latimer of Quitman, La.; paternal grandparents Michael and Sandra McCloud of Malakoff; maternal great-grandfather John Weese of Fort Worth; maternal great-grandmother Violet Seward of Gun Barrel City; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Neal, Michael “Bubba” Bacon, Jr., Dusty Corbett and Cody Lowe.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at Athens United Pentecostal Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
