W. Gene Ketcham

Athens — W. Gene Ketcham, 87, passed away on March 16, 2013 in Corsicana.  Mr. Ketcham was born on Aug. 3, 1925 to Earnest Ethen and Nora B. Hines Ketcham in Pike County, Ohio.

Gene served our country in the U. S. Air Force, and was a paint contractor by trade.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Nora Ketcham, wife Frances Ketcham and son Charles Stone, brothers Johnny, Wendell and Lloyd Ketcham, sisters Helen Pettit, Elsie and Mary.

He is survived by son Jon Ketcham, daughter-in-law Barbara Stone, grandchild Marie Stone, sisters Lucille Shaner and Ruth Moon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is asking everyone to gather together on Wednesday, March  20, at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church, which is located at 107 S. College St., Malakoff.    Everyone will proceed  to the graveside service to be held at 11 a.m. at the Malakoff Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Kimble officiating.
