ATHENS-Memorial services for Myrna Lee Watson, 73, Athens are scheduled for
11:00 A M Monday, October 22, 2012 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Rev. Eric Graham officiating.
Myrna passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Tyler.
She was born December 1, 1938 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Willis Joseph and Bernice Burnard Rowe. Myrna had been a resident of Athens the past 30 years and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church where she was very involved as a Sunday school teacher and organist for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Felix James Wilson and sister Phyllis Wilsey.
Survivors include sons Paul Joseph Wilson, Mesquite, James Wilson and wife Mary, Jeffrey Wilson, both of Athens, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and her caregiver and best friend, Terry Watson, Tool.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made in memory of Myrna Lee Watson to St. John Lutheran Church-Food Pantry 451 Lila Lane, Athens, Texas 75751.
