ATHENS-Funeral services for Bobby Jack Little, 71, Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Edwin McDaniel officiating.
Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery.
Mr. Little died Oct. 15, 2013 in Athens.
He was born Dec. 4, 1941 in Athens to the late Ernest Jackson and Addie Jewell Drew Little, and had been a lifelong resident of the community. He was a graduate of Athens High School.
Bobby was a carpenter all his life, learning the trade in his youth working alongside his father. He built churches and Kinder Cares in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Bobby is preceded in death by brothers Johnny Little and Ernest Glen Little.
Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Barbara Little, Athens; sons Tommy Little and wife Joyce, Brownsboro, Brent Little, Athens; daughter Karen Bynum and husband Michael, Athens; brothers Coy Little, Frankston, George Little, Brownsboro; sister Addie Jo Curry, Tyler; three grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Morris White, Heath Baldwin, Joe Curry, Robert Walker, John Bandy, Murry Abendrath and Larry Richardson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Emerson, Eugene Rivers, Chad Walker, Eric Smith, Bubba Smith, W. R. Morgan and Kenneth Tull.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
