Betty Wise

Athens — Services for Betty Wise of Trinidad will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool with the Rev. Chuck Weber officiating under the direction of Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home, Seven Points.

Visitation was 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Apri1 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Betty was born Aug. 3, 1931 in Paris, Texas to Sam Sanders, Jr. and Christine Stillwell Sanders, and died in Tyler  March 30, 2013.

She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church. Betty was also member of the Literary Club, Cedar Creek Womens Club and the Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Michele Wise, brother, Sam Sanders, Jr. and first husband Oley Hampy.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Hunter, daughters Karen Wise, Kim Wise Rogers, sister Lillian Taylor and brother Mike Sanders.
