ATHENS —
Services for Pauline Sims, 92, of Athens, Texas, are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday January 18, 2013 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Pastor Darrel Lindsey and Sister Dorothy Lindsey officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.
Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery, Martins Mill, Texas.
She passed away January 12, 2013 in Athens, TX.
Mrs. Sims was born June 19, 1920 in Martins Mill, TX, to William Austin and Nettie Letha Thomas Holifield.
She was a member of Westside Full Gospel Church. Pauline was a Church of God Evangelist. She was married to her faithful husband, Arbra, for 35 years before he went to be with the Lord. Pauline loved all aspects of God's work and loved reading her Bible and watching TV preachers. She traveled to many states preaching and even enjoyed the jail ministries. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are Daughter, Shirley Ann & Leo Amirault of Colorado Springs, CO, Brother, Bill & Gerri Holifield of Plano, TX, Sister, Mary M. Ray of Flower Mound, TX, Sister, Geneva Jones of Dallas, TX, 2 Grandsons, Michael & Cindy Amirault & Kenneth & Doreen Amirault, Granddaughter, Jennine & Marlon Murphy, 9 Great-Grandkids.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Arbra L. Sims, Sister, Opal Moon, Brother, Dolphus Holifield.
Pallbearers are Ronald M. Holifield, Perry L. Holifield, Michael Amirault, Kenneth Amirault, James Amirault, L.H. Holifield, Mike Jones.
Family will receive friends Friday 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
