Christene Enbody

Athens — Christene Enbody of Horseshoe Bay departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 24 at Heart Hospital of Austin following a lengthy illness.

Christene was born Oct. 2, 1934 at Artesia, N.M., to Edith and Lester Myers. She was united in marriage with Frank Enbody on Oct. 23, 1957 at Corpus Christi. To this union were born three daughters: Edith Ann (Sorrells); Crystal Cedelya (Miller); and Brenda Sue (Ingram).

Christene is survived by her husband; her three daughters; five grandchildren, Natasha Ann Olivares, Cherice Marie Olivares, Michael Eugene Ingram, Jr., Alexander Frank Ingram and  Kelly Christene Tomka, and five great-grandchildren, Cynthia Renee Sorrells, Paul Carlos Sorrells, Lauren Raquel Sorrells, Alicia Marie Sorrells and Lailita Marciana Navarro.

Christene graduated in 1969 from the nursing program of Del Mar College, and practiced nursing in Corpus Christi, Channelview, Athens and Tyler. Since 1995, she has been co-owner with husband, Frank, of Signographics Custom Signs in Marble Falls.

Christene was a beautiful, beloved wife, mother and  grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
