Athens — Services for Merle O. Scruggs, 84, of Mabank are scheduled for Friday at Eubank Memorial Chapel Mabank at 11 a.m., with Chaplain Clayton McCord officiating.
Burial will follow at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.
Scruggs died on Feb. 8, 2010, in Mabank.
He was born on Oct. 20, 1925, in Dallas.
Visitation will be held at Eubank Memorial Chapel on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
