A traffic stop in Cherokee Shores led to three arrests, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports indicate.
Jessica Leann Hunt, 20, was booked into jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram). The charge is a state jail felony, and carries a possible sentence of 180 days to two years in jail, and a possible fine of up to $10,000.
She remained in custody Wednesday with bond set at $7,500.
Jason Scott Duncan, 39, was booked on an outstanding felony warrant for forgery. He was released Tuesday after posting $5,000 bond.
Robert Tate Scott. 30, was taken to the Gun Barrell City jail for outstanding traffic warrants.
HCSO reports said Dep. Kenny Collard conducted the stop on a 1996 Chevrolet SUV on Huntoon Trail concerning a minor traffic violation.
Collard identified the driver and two passengers, and learned that two of the occupants had outstanding arrest warrants.
During a search, Collard found that Hunt had a quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine in her possession.
All three of the individuals were transported to the Henderson County Justice Center for booking and arraignment.
