The Athens Review
Athens — Freshman Kaleb Hurst of Athens helps unload bags of donations at the Henderson County Food Pantry. Dozens of Trinity Valley Community College students and employees recently participated in the college's annual food drive. For a few hours on Nov. 29, students went door-to-door around Athens, gathering donations of food to help those in need during the holiday season. The group filled a 16-foot trailer with bags of food, which were then delivered to the food pantry. The college has conducted a food drive every November for more than three decades.
