The Athens Review
Athens — Trinity Valley Community College sophomore Taylor Rogers of Cross Roads leads blindfolded freshman Enric Cordova of Spain around the college’s administration building. The pair were part of a group of students who participated in a lesson on limited mobility this week. The students, who are all taking Dr. Vickie Geisel’s lifespan and human development course, spent part of their day navigating the Athens campus with their vision completely impaired. Students were given tasks they must complete while blindfolded, such as asking questions in offices, finding critical locations on campus or securing information.
