The Athens Review
Ladies are you ready? Lone Star Western and Casual will be all about the ladies on Nov. 7. The Athens store will host its first Ladies Night Out. The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 7, starting at 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Lone Star Western and Casual is located at 1113 E. Tyler St.
According to Lone Star Western Marketing Manager Andi Green, the store will provide food, drinks, music and a special giveaway for the first 100 customers. She said there will be special discounts and “tons of fun.”
Green said there are still plans in the works to make it a great night out for the ladies.
“We want to make this a fun night for the ladies,” said Green.
Green said the store plans on raffling off a lot of great prizes. Some of the vendors who donated items for the raffle are Ariat, Durango Boots, D&B Fragrance, TRU Fragrance, Silver Jeans, Montana Silversmith and more. Green said all proceeds from the money raised will go to benefit the ETMC Breast Cancer Foundation in Athens.
Some of the items being raffled are books, belts, cowboy hats, jewelry, watches, shirts, jeans and a $100 spa package. Raffle tickets are $1 each.
“Brookshire's has been wonderful in providing all the food for the event,” said Green.
Susan Rabe, Brookshire's Deli Manager, will be preparing the party trays for the event. Rabe, who has survived breast cancer for three years, said Brookshire's was happy to help Lone Star with the event to raise money for the local Breast Cancer Foundation. She said they will have great food from Brookshire's.
A Facebook Event Page has been set up with information on the event. A total of 90 women have already indicated they will be attending the Ladies Night Out Event. Green said don't miss out on the opportunity to win special giveaways, and be one of the first 100 customers to arrive at the store.
