2nd Annual Juneteenth event set for Fairpark

Athens — The Henderson County Black Rodeo Association will be hosting the second annual Juneteenth Black Rodeo on Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Henderson County Fairpark Complex in Athens.

Come see “The baddest show on dirt” produced by the Real Cowboy Association. More than 300 cowboys are expected to participate.

In addition to the best rodeo action around, don't miss your chance to be a part of the longest line dance in Henderson County. Live entertainment will be provided featuring “Cupid,” performing his new single, “Doing it with your boots on.”

HCBRA rodeo queens, kings and the stampede will be looking for you at the official Rodeo after-party at Eddy's.

Tickets are going fast, so get yours while they last, or it is sure to be sold out. Pre-sale tickets are $10, and are available at Lone Star Western and Casual Wear, Cavanders and Baskins.
