The Henderson County Sheriff's Office has reportedly been investigating numerous thefts and burglaries in the Athens area.
On Thursday at approximately 10 a.m. Henderson County Investigators Billy Jack Valentine and Michael Shelley conducted a follow-up investigation at a residence on County Road 3911.
While at the residence the investigators located several items of stolen property.
Recovered at the residence were a 2004 Suzuki SV650 motorcycle stolen from a residence in Athens; a 2013 Tiger single axle trailer stolen from a residence in Athens and a 2002 Suzuki 250 ATV stolen from a residence in Anderson County.
In November, Athens Police reported a rash of motorcycle thefts.
Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt said the investigation was ongoing and arrests are pending.
The Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Anderson County Sheriff's Office and the Athens Police Department East Texas Auto Theft Task Force are jointly investigating the thefts.
