The Athens Police Department reported the following activity Wednesday:
• Officer Chad Walker took a report of a theft in the 500 block of S. Palestine Street. An oxygen bottle and an acetylene container were missing.
• Detective William Carlow investigated a report of stolen property taken from the Wal-Mart on E. Tyler Street. Police located property and issued criminal trespass warnings against two people.
• Officer Billy Westover took a report at police headquarters of criminal mischief involving damage to digital camera.
• Corporal Gregory Hill worked a two car wreck in the 200 block of S. Palestine. No injuries were reported.
• Corporal Gregory Hill arrested a 20-year-old man at a traffic stop. Jackie Coleman was booked for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
