• Rope, Catch and Ride for Christ Cowboy Church of Mabank will host a Cowboy style holiday bazaar from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Cowboy Santa” will take pictures with children from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bring a non-perishable food donation for admission. Regular events
• Every Tuesday is a special day at South Place Nursing Home. Ladies from Lake Athens Baptist Church treat the residents to manicures.
• West Place Nursing Home has a birthday party for all residents who have a birthday during the month, on the third Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. Lake Athens Baptist Church is pleased to play host to the party and would like to invite all who are interested in making a difference in the lives of our senior citizens to participate.
• Hope Community Church of Murchison holds a Backyard Bible Club the first Sunday of each month at the Murchison Baseball Field at 4 p.m. This free event includes games, food, puppets and skits.
