Athens — There will be an Antique Tractor Pull this weekend, March 22, at Living for the Brand Cowboy Church in Athens.  Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.  About 600 people are expected.  In addition, there will be a Tractor Show and Antique Car Show. Tractor clubs from Texas and surrounding states are scheduled to enter this event.  There will be 20 weight classes competing. Prizes will be given in each class, and they will all compete for the much sought after King of the Hill Award.

A new award will be given at this show, “The Pink Award.”  This is for the Pink tractor with the best display.  In addition to the adult tractor pull, there will be a children’s pedal tractor pull.  Ribbons and awards will go to each child.  There is no entry fee for any competitor in any division.

This event is open to the public and there is no charge.  Concessions will be available on a donation basis only.
