New luxury residential development in Malakoff

MALAKOFF —

MALAKOFF - Long Cove Development located on Highway 198 in Malakoff held a ground breaking last week.

The developers were breaking ground on five and half acres the developers will be adding to Cedar Creek Lake.

When entering the new development you will find yourself on a beautiful two mile drive.

While driving to the homesite you will cross a 100 year old iron bridges and pass through fishing ponds.

The property is private and secluded from the lights of big city life.  The drive through Long Cove can feel like you are miles away from the city you left behind.

Long Cove is a new luxury residential community located on the south end of Cedar Creek Lake. The first phase of the development is now complete with 22 pre designers waterfront cottages or you can purchase a lot to build your custom dream home. 

The new development consist of 1000 acres with six and half miles of Cedar Creek Lake shoreline. All homes built will be waterfront homes with floating docks. Residents of this private retreat are offered a complete services of a concierges, boat valet and storage, Chris Kelly, developer, said “We are trying to create a full array of luxury amenities designed for family and friends.”

Josh Ellis, Sales Director, said “I invited everyone to visit  and view  our Lakefront homesites and various waterfront cottages. We have designed this development with the family in mind.” Ellis said “There are seven floor plans to choose from.”  All homesites will have dramic views of Cedar Creek Lake.

Some of the amenities available at Long Cove are private lake clubhouse, fitness center, pools, water slide, amphitheater, pavilion, marina, dry storage, PGA driving range golf course, docks, tennis and basketball courts, toy barn, fishing pond, hiking and bike trails, landscaped grounds, sandy beaches and multiple water activities.

Ellis said the new development should be ready for their Memorial Day Grand Opening.
