Two people were killed in a two-vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon on Loop 7 in Athens.
The names of the two victims were not immediately available, as next-of-kin had not been notified as of presstime Tuesday.
Athens Police, however, said none of the victims were local.
The vehicle involved a Honda passenger car and an Isuzu box truck. Specific information about the cause of the wreck was not immediately available.
The wreck happened between Farm-to-Market Road 1616 and the Hwy 31 exit ramp.
