The Athens Review
Today marks the fourth day of the Henderson County Livestock Show — counting Monday’s queen and princess coronation ceremony.
The show passed the halfway mark with this morning’s Market Goat Show, and today’s festivities will end with the Market Swine Show which begins at 5 p.m. at the Henderson County Fair Park Complex (located at 3356 State Highway 31 East in Athens).
Friday, the last full day of the show, will begin with the Youth Project Show and Breeding Poultry and Game Bird Show at 9 a.m. and end with the Market Steer Show, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Saturday’s festivities will include the Clover Kids Livestock Show at 8:30 a.m., various awards presentations and the annual Premium Auction, which is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
The youths who participate in the livestock show are always some of the hardest-working kids around. Come out and support them!
