Athens — After months of legal wrangling and campaigning, citizens get to start making their choices in the Democratic and Republican Primary Elections, Monday.

Henderson County voters will weigh in on races ranging from the anticlimactic Presidential Primary to the local offices of County Commissioner and Constable. Sample ballots are available on the Henderson County government website.

Early balloting will continue through May 25, at poling places in Chandler, Seven Points and Athens. Voting at the Seven Points City Hall well be conducted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Henderson County Election Center in Athens and the Chandler Community Center will be open for voting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voters who can’t make it to one of the polling places during regular business hours will have a chance to cast early ballots at the Henderson County Election Center Saturday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 20, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
