At the beginning of the Athens Independent School District regular meeting of trustees Thursday, school board members will be recognized, as well as January Teachers/Employees of the Month.
Among action items to be considered are out-of-state student travel, a superintendent evaluation instrument and Texas Schools Property Casualty Insurance Coop Renewal.
From the information items, there will be consideration of campus security and a Murchison Foundation update.
For the consent agenda, financial statements for the month of December, 2012 will be discussed, as well as a quarterly investment report.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the District Support Center Board Room, 104 Hawn St., in Athens.
