Athens — A 29-year-old Chandler woman has been indicted by the Henderson County Grand Jury in connection to the death of an area teen last July.

Alisha Marie Mayer was indicted on a count of intoxication manslaughter when the Grand Jury met last Thursday.

According to a report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Seth Austin Bullock, 18, of Chandler was killed when he fell from the top of a vehicle’s trunk in the Wildwood subdivision. He sustained a blow to the head when he made contact with the concrete surface.

Bullock was pronounced dead by Smith County Justice of the Peace James Cowart.

Reports state Mayer was backing out of a driveway when Bullock jumped onto the trunk of the vehicle. He lost his footing and then hit his head on the pavement.

Mayer was arrested and eventually freed on bond.
