Athens — The University of Texas at Tyler’s mobile “GO” Unit will be at Malakoff High School from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The purpose of the “GO” Unit will be to help Malakoff seniors and their parents prepare the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as FAFSA. Computers will be available to complete the application.

Both parents and students will need to apply for PIN numbers if they have not already done so for this application to be completed online. They will also need their Social Security numbers.

Local scholarship applications may be picked up outside the main office of the high school at 5:30 p.m. the same day, Thursday, January 10.
