The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office continued to patrol the Cedar Creek Lake area for narcotics offenses, making one arrest, Monday.
Savannah Rae Marlin, 26, was booked into the Henderson County Jail for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance (four grams to 200 grams). The charge carries a possible sentence of five to 99 years, and an optional fine, not to exceed, $10,000.
HCSO reports indicated that Dep. Kenny Collard was in the Oak Harbor subdivision of Cherokee Shores when he saw a vehicle operating with defective equipment.
Collard signaled for the vehicle to stop, and saw Marlin making suspicious movements in the passenger seat.
Collard conducted a search of the vehicle, and found a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
The deputy also found digital scales, numerous baggies, syringes, straws and a glass pipe near where Marlin had been sitting.
Marlin was transported to jail, where she remained in custody Monday, with bond set at $10,000.
