Athens — The Henderson County Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Jesse Wayne Murrey at a home on 32411 Farm-to-Market Road 85 Wednesday, and charged him with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
Investigating officers Ronny Halbert, David Faught, Darrell Waller and Greg Hill executed a search warrant for narcotics, signed by Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace, Dale Blaylock.
Once inside, officers discovered a quantity of methamphetamine, allegedly owned by Murrey.
He was awaiting arraignment Thursday.
The officers were assisted by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Henderson County District Attorney’s Office.
